Mining scorecard templates — FAQs
What scorecard templates are available for Mining?
There are 47 role-specific scorecard templates across 13 departments, including Engineering and Maintenance, Executive Office, Finance, Human Resources, ICT, Legal and Company Secretarial. Each template covers one role rather than a whole team, so the KPIs are written for that job.
Are the Mining scorecards free?
Yes. Every scorecard on this page is a free Excel (.xlsx) download with no signup, account or payment required.
What does a Mining scorecard template contain?
A single Scorecard sheet with 32 pre-written KPIs spread evenly across the four balanced-scorecard perspectives (Financial, Customer & Stakeholder, Internal Processes, Learning & Growth), each with a strategic goal, unit, reporting frequency, target period, direction, base and stretch targets, and a weighting.
How does the scoring work?
Rating % = (Actual − Base) ÷ (Stretch − Base) × 100, where Base = 0% and Stretch = 100%. Ratings are weighted by each KPI's Weight % and summed into an overall score. Only the yellow Actual cells need filling in — everything else calculates.
Can the templates be edited?
Yes. The KPIs, goals, targets and weightings are all editable, with dropdowns on direction, reporting frequency and target period, and cell comments explaining each column.
