Effective Date: 10 May 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Human Capital Hub website, its content, toolkits, calculators, and AI-powered tools (together, the "Site"). The Human Capital Hub is a global brand serving HR, talent, and compensation professionals worldwide.
By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Site. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Site. By using the Site you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.
3. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful, personal, and professional purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation in any jurisdiction.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Site, the servers on which it is hosted, or any connected database or system.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or any related system, or breach or circumvent any authentication, security, or rate-limiting measure.
- Upload, transmit, or distribute any viruses, malware, trojans, worms, or other code of a destructive nature.
- Scrape, harvest, crawl, or otherwise collect information about other users or the Site's content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
- Use any automated system (including bots, spiders, or scrapers) in a manner that sends more requests to the Site than a human can reasonably produce in the same period using a conventional browser.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Use the Site, our content, toolkits, or AI tools to develop, train, fine-tune, or benchmark a competing product or model without our prior written consent.
- Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, obscene, infringing, or otherwise objectionable, or that contains personal information about a third party you do not have the right to share.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site, our servers, or networks connected to the Site, or with any other user's use of the Site.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including articles, research, whitepapers, presentations, videos, toolkits, calculators, graphics, logos, trademarks, design, and source code — is the property of The Human Capital Hub or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of applicable jurisdictions worldwide.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Site for your personal and internal professional purposes. You may read, share, and quote short excerpts of our articles for non-commercial purposes provided you give clear attribution and a link back to the original page. Any other use — including reproduction, modification, translation, redistribution, public display, or commercial distribution — requires our prior written consent.
5. User Submissions
"User Submissions" means any content you submit to the Site — including comments, newsletter sign-ups, contact form messages, and the inputs you provide to our toolkits and AI tools (such as resumes, job adverts, role descriptions, or compensation figures).
User Submissions are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your User Submissions. By submitting content to the Site you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, display, and create derivative works of your User Submissions solely for the purpose of operating, providing, securing, and improving the Site and our services.
You represent and warrant that (a) you own or have the necessary rights to submit the content; (b) the content does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party; and (c) the content complies with these Terms and applicable law.
6. Toolkits, Calculators, and AI Tools
The Site provides toolkits, compensation calculators (for example, Compa-Ratio, Pay Compression, Pay Structure, and Range Penetration), and AI-powered tools (for example, AI Resume Reviewer, AI Resume Builder, AI CV Tailor, AI Resume Checker, AI Cover Letter Generator, AI Job Description Generator, and Psychometric Practice Tests).
These tools are provided for general informational and decision-support purposes only. The outputs depend on the inputs you provide and on third-party AI models that may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or biased results. You are solely responsible for reviewing the output, validating it against your own data and policies, and deciding whether and how to use it.
In particular, the toolkits, calculators, and AI tools are not a substitute for professional HR, legal, financial, medical, or other expert advice, and they should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any compensation, employment, hiring, disciplinary, or other significant decision. You must comply with all laws applicable to the way you use the tools and the outputs — including employment, anti-discrimination, data protection, and pay-transparency laws in your jurisdiction.
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool, feature, or part of the Site at any time without liability to you.
7. Accounts and Subscriptions
Some features (such as our newsletter) require you to provide an email address or to create an account. You are responsible for keeping any credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account or email subscription. You agree to provide accurate and current information and to update it as needed. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content that are not owned or controlled by us. We provide these links for your convenience only. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, products, or practices of any third-party sites or services, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
9. Advertising
The Site may display advertising, including from third-party advertising networks. We do not endorse the products or services advertised. Any transaction you enter into with an advertiser is solely between you and that advertiser, and we are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from such dealings.
10. Copyright and DMCA-Style Notices
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content on the Site infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to thehub@thehumancapitalhub.com including:
- An identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The URL or location on the Site of the allegedly infringing material.
- Your contact details (name, address, email, telephone number).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We will review notices and remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material as appropriate.
11. Disclaimer
The Site, its content, and all toolkits, calculators, and AI tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis for general informational purposes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, completeness, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. While we make reasonable efforts to keep our content accurate and up to date, we do not warrant that any content, output, or information on the Site is current, accurate, or free from errors. Articles, toolkits, calculators, and AI outputs are not a substitute for professional HR, legal, financial, or other expert advice and should not be relied upon as such.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Human Capital Hub, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities — arising out of or in connection with your access to, use of, or inability to use the Site, the toolkits, the calculators, the AI tools, or any output generated by them, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Site is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Human Capital Hub and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and licensors from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Site; (b) your User Submissions; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
14. Suspension and Termination
We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to all or part of the Site if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms, that your use poses a security or legal risk to us or others, or that we are required to do so by law. The provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — shall survive.
15. Changes to the Site and Tools
The Site is provided to a global audience and we update it continuously. We may, at any time and without prior notice, add, modify, suspend, withdraw, or discontinue any content, feature, toolkit, calculator, or AI tool, in whole or in part. We will not be liable to you or to any third party for any such change.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or your use of the Site (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence, you and we agree that the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to these Terms.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. If the changes are material we will use reasonable efforts to give you additional notice (for example, by an in-product notice or email). Your continued use of the Site after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in whole or in part by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
19. No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed on our behalf to be effective.
20. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any of your rights or obligations under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms freely, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets.
21. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced on the Site, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Site and supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings on the same subject.
22. Notices and Electronic Communications
We may provide notices to you by email, by posting them on the Site, or by other reasonable means. You consent to receive notices and other communications from us electronically, and you agree that all notices, agreements, disclosures, and other communications we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
