Summary Dismissal

It refers to the termination of an employee's employment without notice or any form of severance pay. It is an immediate and abrupt termination that occurs when an employer believes that the employee has committed a serious breach of their employment contract or engaged in misconduct that warrants immediate termination. Summary dismissal is typically reserved for severe offenses such as theft, fraud, violence, gross insubordination, or repeated violations of company policies. Unlike a regular dismissal, summary dismissal does not provide the employee with any opportunity to rectify their behavior or address the issue before termination.
