Self-Directed Work Teams

Also known as self-managing teams or autonomous teams, are groups of individuals within an organization who have the authority and responsibility to manage their own work processes and make decisions collectively. These teams are empowered to set their own goals, determine how to achieve them, and monitor their progress without direct supervision from a manager.
