That "all year round" wording is the part that distinguishes it. Many retailers in this category run seasonal events, so a student has to wait for a window. ASOS does not, and the code persists rather than expiring after a single use.
The discount applies to the order value before delivery charges. It is not a "up to 10 percent" tiered offer, despite how it is often written: the rate is flat.
How do you verify as a student with ASOS?

Both platforms do carry the offer as an alternative. UNiDAYS United States shows a live 10 percent, and so does Student Beans United States. If you already hold an account with either, that route works. If you do not, creating one is an unnecessary step.
Who qualifies for the ASOS student discount?
Anyone aged sixteen or over in full-time or part-time study, which ASOS's own terms extend to include "apprenticeships and high schools". That is materially broader than most student discounts in this category, and it is the second thing worth knowing about this offer.
Compare it with adidas, whose student discount is limited to current college and university students and recent graduates, with high school students excluded. ASOS covers a group that adidas does not.
