Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing, implementing and reviewing strategy in line with broader Board requirements.
  • Maintaining sound relationship with all stakeholders locally, regionally and internationally.
  • Raising capital for all growth initiatives in line with Board approval.
  • Resource mobilizing for all the Association operations.
  • Developing company policies for approval by the Board.
  • Developing and monitoring adherence to set benchmarks which guarantee strategy execution.
  • Reviewing and monitoring staff performance.
  • Identifying new business lines for the Association.
  • Establishing system and procedures to ensure the business opportunities are fully taken advantage of.
  • Accounting for all the Association procurement processes.
  • Ensuring all procured goods and services are in line with the Association expectations .

Qualifications and Experience:

  • First degree in a technical area is required.
  • Master’s Degree is a prerequisite.
  • At least 10 years’ experience, 5 years at Executive Management level .
  • Knowledge of Standards e.g. ISO/IEC 17020, 17021, 17025.
  • Added advantage, knowledge of Consignment Based Conformity Assessment.
